Hello, it's been a few months since the last post. It is the middle of February now, and about a week ago my cat and I felt the first blushes of spring. I have been gone for about four months. These months also happen to encapsulate a time which has been death for me for the past 5 years-- Holidays.

The Holidays really are Holy Days for men. Women are trapped inside, even more isolated from the world than usual. We are forced to spend EVEN MORE time in the house, with fucking family, and the family (in its contemporary enslaving oppressive patriarchal form) is usually the primary sucker of life and source of horror in a woman's life. We have to act like we are HAPPY about all of this together-time, and perform so many actions like: preparing food for men, attending patriarchal religious services, providing emotional labor, and putting on a smile. Children are given presents as positive reinforcement to associate these holidays with happiness. The boys will grow up to expect this shit, and the girls will be compelled to perform these holiday services when they grow up.

[And here my post ended, until today, April 3rd. I was too trapped to write in this time period. It sounds unbelievable, but it is true. The patriarchy at work.]

[Thank you so much for reading.]

[People are actually coming home as I post this. Insane.]
