"Lazy" Girls

Hello! Today I want to talk about something. I have been going through a personal development lately, and I would like to share it. Personal developments are actually kind of new to me: All of my life I never knew that I could change. My parents never taught me that I could change. (Wow, my parents are like a 500 page book of shit. But I will go down that path another time.) Maybe the message floated around somewhere in my childhood, but I never grasped it out of a movie or a book.

It took somebody else to really teach me this in adulthood-- That I can evolve. I CAN change, I SHOULD change. I can control my mind. I don't need to validate every thought or feeling that comes up. (Or, conversely, ignore thoughts I don’t want to deal with.) And in the Male Maze of this world, it's hard to know which thoughts are your own, and which are implanted. Which ones need to be validated and explored, and which ones need to go into a mental garbage can. For about the first 22 years of my life, I gave credit to the brainwashing implanted it me, and rejected the very real thoughts and feelings in my subconscious and in my body.

I have always been lazy- All of my life. But my true, inborn laziness is a different thing than what society considers "lazy." There is a very insightful truth we can catch and think upon: anywhere in the world, girls who the world labels as “lazy” are universally HATED. According to people, a girl or a woman is lazy if she is not constantly, frenetically, mindlessly, OCCUPIED. If she has not one free nanosecond in which she could develop a seed of a thought that could lead to realization of her reality. Add to that, what is considered "lazy" for males is vastly different. Men live in a different world, as pampered cripples who can only accomplish anything by cheating and participating with a handicap. To truly pit a women against a man on equal footing would give the impression of cruelty towards the man.

Every single culture in the world has developed a unique system to shepherd women in this way. The modern worldwide disgust at a so-called “lazy” girl or woman is everywhere. Females are kept in line by endless physical and mental occupations. Most of these occupations are full of opportunities to trap her further into desperate physical or mental busywork. The word "busywork" has the definition of being useless work. A rage run through people, conscious or unconscious, at the sight of a girl sitting and thinking, or playing, or relaxing. People are frightened when a girl is doing nothing. Because when she is doing nothing, in that one second she has to breathe, maybe she will have a seed of a beginning of a thought that leads to a realization of her reality.

Both the physical and mental occupations imposed on women are soul-wounding. Further harm is done when they bounce off each. The garbage imposed on women keeps going until new garbage is made up, and there is NEVER meant to be a stop. Everything is relationally proportionate to the region and to the men there. Male mechanisms are fundamentally the same all over the world. Minor variations are irrelevant and fixations on "culture" are a calculated distraction.

But the force of the female mind cannot be contained completely. What is it like when she IS in her own world? With barely a sliver of the time and space that boys get, her mind is conducive towards INTELLIGENCE. She has high-level thinking such as inventiveness, deep thinking, philosophizing, questioning, uniqueness, creativity, and putting things together. These mental activities, of the highest kind, are, in modern culture, exclusively applied only to the so-called “greatest” of male minds, whom are enthusiastically called: “Philosophers”.

All women can relate to these forms of thinking. But the thinking from women is too great to put into a language. It is interconnected and multidimensional. Erroneously, women might think it is invalid because it does not fit into small definitions created by men for other men. The picture of the societal system to control women becomes clear. All of the traits I listed: intelligence, inventiveness, deep thinking, philosophizing, questioning, uniqueness, creativity, and putting things together, are all characteristics that are NEGATIVE towards the grading of a woman within the patriarchy. These things inspire fear about a woman. It triggers the "tamp her down" response from the society around her. The response is usually not violent, it is sometimes deceptively kind and focuses the woman's attention to other engagements that make it easier to keep her under control. ("Honey, why worry your head over this? I want to see you happy. Why don't you call up some friends and go out and have a fun night out? Maybe you'll even meet a nice boy.")

Conclusion: The shame-inducing title of “lazy” is intentionally FALSE and is intended to keep girls and women trapped in the patriarchy.

My own extreme inclination towards “laziness” has brought me a lot of good things. (I think a lot of lesbians are both lazy and “lazy.”) It has helped open my eyes to the patriarchy, taken care of my body, and because of it, I have made so many intellectual and creative breakthroughs. When I zone out, my mind is an infinite playground and learning space. Compare that to my actual laziness, which is really quite lazy, and often has negative consequences for me. I avoid pain and learning sometimes, and also new things. I set myself up for having to deal with bigger problems later because I am too lazy sometimes in the moment. I don’t push myself to work when I can. But it took me 27 YEARS to figure out when I need to improve myself, and when society is doing its usual routine trying to keep me in the patriarchy.
